Inspired by nature
Through his pared-back, harmonious design, René Talmon l’Armée creates a distinctive world in which every material reveals its own natural beauty.
Through his pared-back, harmonious design, René Talmon l’Armée creates a distinctive world in which every material reveals its own natural beauty.
In his hands, jewellery creations of an extraordinary nature take shape. His creativity is evident in the simple design language, which serves to highlight the individuality of those who wear his pieces.
He prefers to use the natural gemstones to highlight the contrast between rough, organic surfaces and the luster of the precious metal. The unique character of rough diamonds is deliberately emphasized in his works.
René Talmon l’Armée produces all his pieces entirely by hand.
He therefore always imbues his jewellery with a very personal character.
This applies not only to bespoke pieces and one-off-a-kind pieces but also to wedding rings and small editions, which can be customised.
René Talmon l’Armée was born in Berlin, and lives
and works between Berlin and Paris. As trained goldsmith and jewellery designer, he combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design. Alongside his own collections, he has developed prototypes for international houses. His work has included collaborations in the Hermès sphere, for De Percin and over several seasons on Anne Demeulemeester’s jewellery collections.
In a former traditional Parisian jewellery foundry in the Marais,
which dates back to the turn of the century,
as well as in his Berlin workshop in the Scheunenviertel district of Mitte,
he has been designing and crafting jewellery sinc 2001.
His pieces are crafted there in the classical tradition of fine craftsmanship,
using 750 gold, sterling silver and palladium white gold.
